Elle fut présentée en première mondiale le 18 mars au Theaterhaus Am Alten Markt de Potsdam.
La Femme était magistralement interprétée par Beate Vollack, soliste au Komischen Oper Berlin.….
Pas moins d'un an et demi fut nécessaire pour arriver à boucler ce "Ballet-Marathon"!
Le rôle est repris une première fois par Véronique Lièvin en 2010 et nous montre que l'œuvre n'a en rien perdu de son originalité ni de sa force ...!
A son tour, Fanny Languillier s’empare de l’œuvre par une approche moins académique mais en parfaite harmonie avec la vision du chorégraphe ….
Elle reste d'une actualité à toutes épreuves par les thèmes abordés et par la modernité de la mise en scène mêlant rigueur classique et épanouissement contemporain tout comme théâtralité et sensualité !

Un mélange d’amour, de fragilité, de force, de courage, d’humilité, de vulnérabilité, de volonté …
Carmina, c’est aller jusqu’au bout, ne jamais abandonner malgré les peurs, les souffrances, les doutes, les tristesses, les déchirements qui s’immiscent dans notre vie, qui nous pénètrent...
En interprétant Carmina, il m’arrive de pleurer parce que je pars très loin...
Les choses remontent à la surface pour se libérer...
La femme qui est en moi me parle, je me réconcilie avec elle...
Avec celle qui s’est enfuie, avec celle que j’ai quelque peu oubliée...
Au travers de ces confessions de Femme, j’entretiens un dialogue intime avec la vie...
Je passe par toutes Mes générations...
L’enfant, l’adolescente, la jeune femme, la femme mûre, la vieille dame que je serai un jour!
De par cette confession de Femme, malgré les épreuves quotidiennes, une chose apparaît, persiste et signe... La Vie est Belle !
